I'm also pretty sure that people won't notice if you have a helmet that is not the same brand as the rest of your riding gear. I don't have any matching stuff, but then again I don't show. The helmet I have right now is an IRH, and I love it! Oh and this summer I drove by the ranch that Ralph Lauren owns in Colorado. It's reeeeeeeally big and looks really pretty :) I’m pretty sure they don’t. I’m also pretty sure that people won’t notice if you have a helmet that is not the same brand as the rest of your riding gear. I don’t have any matching stuff, but then again I don’t show. An RL helmet wouldn't be considered "in" or "cool". They don't make them any way. You don't need to be concerned with style or brand names. Safety is more important. For helmets, GPA and Charles Owen are the big brands. Tailored sportsman is big too if you can afford a $300 pair of breeches. Personally, I do own pricey apparel but I only use it for showing. That's when your appearance counts the most anyways. Don't waste your time on labels. To be honest, nobody cares. It's not like the show ring girls stand around talking about their designer helmets all day. They do stand around talking about their $500,000 horses though!
